Overview
Beetroot is a vegetable I eat roasted, not a supplement I take, and for most people that is where it should stay. The concentrated powder is for endurance athletes who have read the same papers I have and want the nitrate in a measured amount two or three hours before a long effort.
No authorized wording exists for nitrate in Europe or the UK, so this page says nothing about what it does. It says what it is and how much is in it, which is the honest limit. It is an optional product and will only be made if people ask for it.
